hello. I am looking for people who remember early package holidays to Benidorm or the other costa dels.... I am working on a documentary about the history of the British holiday for bbc4 and we'd love to interview someone about these memories. Can you help?
My email is vicky.gardner@bbc.co.uk and my number is 07977 997085
thanks

Apart from the Sandbrook opus another excellent survey of the decade is Alwyn W. Turner's CRISIS? WHAT CRISIS? BRITAIN IN THE 1970s (2008). A detailed and very engaging read, in which the author studies the social/cultural/political developments through reference to the popular culture of the period. He has written an equally excellent sequal about the following decade called REJOICE! REJOICE! I would highly recommend these two books.
