I wrote in November 2007 about Barry scrapyard , the last most famous graveyard of steam locomotives in Britain, run by Dai Woodham.
I've just discovered a stack of photos of Barry taken in the late 1970s and 1980s.

Other than the Welshpool LLanfair light railway, and the occasional steam locomotive not-on-track to be seen at some country fairs, is there a steam locomotive in operation in the UK?
There are three or four, rennovated and running in Japan.
